I would rather get 10 dollars every time I snap my fingers because I want to be able to have money whenever I want. For example, when I want to eat something, I can just snap my fingers and I get money. Also, I feel like I would be overwhelmed with having 10 million dollars at one time and I might end up spending everything or splurging all of it on something. After I run out of my 10 dollars, I can just snap my fingers again and I would get another 10 dollars.

The highlight of my break was going back home and spending time with my friends. This 2020, I am looking forward to ending junior year and starting senior year because I feel like it will be a fun year and it is also my last year as a high school student. I am also looking forward to turning 18 this year.

When ice cream is made, it is frozen therefore it is cold. Ice cream causes sensitivty in your teeth because of tis cold

9. Winter break is 8 days from today, on the 20th.

Since today is the 12th of December and winter break is on the 20th then we only have 8 days left because 20-12=8.

10. I am taking CNF for my English credit this semester.

I think I would want to live in the countryside of Italy mostly because I love Italian food like pasta. I have only been to the main cities of Italy and I really enjoyed my visits there but I think the countryside would be more relaxed and I would want to wake up to the nice scenery that I only get to see in videos or postcards.

Our family does not celebrate Thanksgiving because it is not something that is celebrated in the Philippines but since we have relatives who live in the mainland, they usually call us through Skype or FaceTime during their Thanksgiving dinner to show us their celebrations. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the people in my life. I am thankful for my parents who always support me. I am thankful for the rest of my family and friends back home who answer my calls when I am sad, even if it is early morning where they are. I am also thankful for my friends here, especially my friends from the dorms who welcomed me and made me feel at home. I am thankful for the teachers and houseparents here for helping me and asking how I’m doing.

I would rather be in one job for the rest of my life because at least I would be able to have money for myself and I feel like it would be easier than having to go to school for the rest of your life and learning new things as you progress through the grade levels since you’re already used to doing the same thing and the basics of the job are something you are already very familiar with.

Mrs Johnson, Mrs Suarez, Mrs Ganaban, Teacher Shiela

Mrs Ganaban was my kindergarten teacher who always comforted me when I would cry in class. Almost everyday for the first few months of kindergarten, I would cry in the mornings because I did not want my mom to leave and she would always tell me that it will only be short time until I see my mom again.

Mrs Johnson made me feel really welcome here during my first days in the dorm and in the school. Even if I don’t have any classes with her, whenever I ask her for help for history, she is always willing to help and her explanations are very clear and easy to understand. Aside from schoolwork, she always checks up on me and how I’m doing.

I would rather be able to read other people’s thoughts because I don’t want them to know my secrets and I don’t want them to know what I think of them. Although it would be a little disturbing to know what other people are thinking especially if it’s involving me, I think it would be fun to know what their thoughts are and I wouldn’t have to be so curious about what they’re thinking.

I used to believe that my toys were also people. I think that this was because I did not have any siblings so I would always spend time with them and play with them. I believed that they were too shy to talk to me when I was there but that they would talk amongst themselves when I was not there. I also thought that they felt the same emotions as us so I would always be considerate to them and make sure they don’t feel cold when I leave the room. I also made sure that they were left with other toys so they would not feel lonely.

I would rather be able to see into the future because I want to know what will happen to me in my life. With knowing what will happen in the future, I can prepare myself for whatever comes and not be surprised with things that come my way. I also like to move on from whatever happened in the past and look ahead into the future.
